Deriums CCG Crate: OPENED!

We got our Deriums crate today in the mail.

For those that don't know, Deriums card shop in Ohio does a monthly ccg crate, a loot crate - styled service where for a set price, you get a randomly selected bunch of packs and accessories. We have subscribed to them since the beginning  of the service, and usually they give a video of what is going to be in each crate.
This time, they had no video and it was genuinely a random assortment. We were going to record the unboxing, but both of us got camera shy at the last minute. So instead we took pictures.

Here it is, in all its postmarked glory! When we cracked it open, we were greeted by something we weren't expecting...

A giant eyeball of... max protection sleeves. Mind you, they were very pretty and shiny, but I have heard that they aren't... the best on the market. Then we were greeted by...

More sleeves. Mind you, these were Legion. Legion sleeves are really nice picture sleeves, yes, but we could have done without three packs of sleeves. I don't even know what we are going to do with the Max Protection ones, honestly. But that was only the top of the crate, and there was still more to go.

Next up was a Born of the Gods prerelease pack. I like getting prerelease packs, and I really enjoyed getting the pair of them in the previous crate. I will get more into what we found in the packs later on. Believe me when I say it was pretty excellent.

Next up was the Fate Reforged Clash Pack, a thing that both Kinny and I had been staring at in the store and going "should we? should we not? ...let's wait on it." And guess what? WE DON'T  HAVE TO WAIT ANYMORE. It has a few alternate arts that we really wanted for the cube and we are pleased to have it.

And finally, the usual life pads, tokens and stickers. Always fun to have around, and we always need the life pads.

Now, remember when I said we got some good things in our prerelease packs? Well, the seeded booster contained a Silent Sentinel with alternate art which is GORGEOUS. And then I get to opening my first pack... and this greets me:

Yeah, that was pretty awesome to crack open. If I had been actually making a deck with this box, I would've totally ended up doing R/W. Here's the rest of what we cracked (we forgot a couple).

So, all in all, we had a relatively successful potpurri crate, could've done with maybe some dice or a deck box instead of the Max Protection sleeves, but we're not complaining... much.
